In the vibrant tapestry of 1980s pop music, Hollywood Beyond's 1986 hit single "What's The Colour Of Money" stands as a shimmering gem, capturing the essence of the era with its infectious rhythm and thought-provoking lyrics. When we had the opportunity to work with Mark Rogers on re-recording the track with the added orchestra we jumped at the chance. Taking those catchy melodies we all know and bringing some orchestral grandeur to the party.
"What's The Colour Of Money" remains not only a quintessential anthem of the 1980s but also a poignant reflection on the human condition which continues to resonate with audiences today, reminding us that the pursuit of wealth and success often comes at a cost.
